The staff is friendly and courteous but everything past the front desk is downhill. If I had to describe the bathroom in one word it’s “gross.” A step above a road trip gas station bathroom since the sink was actually pristine. I drove from South Texas to Georgia and despite being a “4 star” hotel (I chuckled when I read this, a 200 a night price tag and it’s past reviews this is the worst hotel on the trip. Take your family somewhere else.(Edit - based on the owners response I’m guessing they misunderstood the issue. The housekeeping isn’t the issue, it’s management/ownership and the poor upkeep of the facilities. The shower and toilets are worn and gross and need to be replaced, remodeled and/or upgraded. Housekeeping can’t clean away those issues.)

The staff at the DoubleTree was friendly, professional, and considerate throughout my stay, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels very old and is in serious need of updates. The rooms, gym, and hotel bar all appeared outdated. The walls also seem very thin, as you can hear almost everything from the hallway and neighboring rooms, which made it difficult to relax and sleep. On top of that, the A/C unit was extremely loud. Overall, the customer service was good, but the property really needs renovations and modernization.

It was not until well after 4:00pm that we were able to get into our room, which was past the quoted time given when we tried to check-in early. The room was decent but far from acceptable. The shower curtain was moldy on the bottom, the bathroom door had what I think was human feces by the handle, the shower fixture was almost coming off the wall and to top it off, we had a maintenance man enter our room unexpectedly saying we called the front desk expressing that our AC was not working, which was not the truth. Poor communication among staff is to blame. I would not recommend you bringing your family to this hotel as it is not clean and is in need of desperate attention both physically and financially.

I booked 12 rooms here for a school trip through Gwen in the Sales Dept. I couldn't be happier with the service and organization of this establishment. When we arrived , all twelve rooms, keys, instructions, cookies and breakfast vouchers were carefully packaged into a bag ready to go. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The breakfast was very good value. Highly recommend this establishment - they are organized, customer oriented and run a tight ship.

As a Hilton Honors member, this was one of the more disappointing stays. With a reservation for 3 nights, 4 days, we cut it short at 9 hours. The area is sketch. Required to be buzzed into the lobby when we arrived. Reception and keys issued went fine. When we got to the room, it was not what we reserved, two doubles vs a king. No other rooms were available. We walked into the room and both my spouse's shoes and mine stuck to the floor as we walked through the room. They made sticky suction noises throughout. Definitely did not want to be barefoot or even have socks on while walking in the room. The TV screen was smeared with an unknown sticky substance and appeared to have been wiped down but not clean. The window sill was covered with dead bugs and tobacco. After few hours of rest, we cancelled our reservation and moved to another Hilton property near by. The attendant/manager stated she was unable to reimburse our points and told us we need to contact Hilton Honors. It prevented us from using earned points for our next stay. The property we move to was amazing!

Booked my stay here as a surprise for my best friend’s birthday and I’m extremely disappointed. The water never gets hot in the rooms. I brought it to their attention the first time and was told “It depends on the time of day”. Since when does it depend on the time of day if a hotel has hot running water. Taking cold showers was not on the agenda after traveling all day from another state. We’ve been taking cold showers the entire weekend. I complained again to the front desk, was put on hold then was told she wrote it down. No other explanation or accommodations. My room was half cleaned, beds were never made, neither were linens replaced. The bathroom was never cleaned, toilet paper was never replenished, and when towels were replaced, they were placed on dirty linen instead of in the bathroom. Housekeeping only changed the trash and replaced towels. As a Hilton Honors member I would expected top tier service. This is definitely not the Hilton standard that I’m use to. I would not recommend booking this hotel.

We’ve stayed here annually for the last five years for high school thespian convention. The only reason we keep using this hotel is because all the others are booked well over a year in advance. The hotel looks nice but there is always something. This year there was no hot water. Day 1 it was warm-ish. Day 2 the water was cold all day. Day 3 it was luke warm. For $200 a night I expect to be able to take a hot shower. If your room is on floors 2-5, good luck if it’s busy!!! There are two elevators and no stairs. The hotel is always full of schools attending the conference who all leave and arrive around the same time so the line to get on the elevator often stretches down the hallway to the front desk. There are fire escape stairs on the outside of the building but they’re locked. Sometimes the staff will unlock them so we can walk up the stairs to our room but they need to hold the door open for us so if they’re not available, you need to wait for the elevator for 20 minutes.

Dirty!!! So, so dirty. I took some photos because I was honestly afraid to complain to the staff without proof. Granted the photos do not fully encapsulate how filthy the rooms are. My first one was so bad I complained and got a new one. The new room is identical. Hair, dirt, stains, and stickiness on all of the floors. Hair and dirt between the sheets. A toilet that had urine on the seat dried in several places. Crumbs on the desk and night stand. The mirrors look like they were mopped and were left with a hazy film. I have had to stay in many hotels all over for work and this is the worst one by far. The staff at the front are very nice and understanding. They supported the room swap and were kind about it. It sucks that they work in an environment that subjects them to these kinds of complaints. I see the topic in several other reviews so clearly it is an ongoing issue. Please fix it!

Roaches and hotel rooms do not mix. We did complain, they did not apologize or look shocked but did contact maintenance. Our room was sprayed (we were not offered another) and after spray but we're still coming out of the walls. Gross ? The staff is friendly for the most part. The breakfast cost is not competitive to area sit down restaurants. Esthetically very appealing but they need to keep up their maintenance.

People are nice but the positives end there. I have to share that this is the dirtiest Doubletree I've been in and possibly the is dirties hotel. I am in hotels nearly every week for work. Sometimes I'm in 2 hotels a week. The lobby and desk area are disgustingly dirty. The first room I was given was so dirty... dirt and debris all over the floor. Toilet and shower was dirty. I had them change my room. The second room was better but not good. The floor was sticky as if mopped with a dirty mop. The bathroom floor behind the door had lots of dirt and hair. I found 2 hairs in the shower which didn't belong to me or the same people as they were very different. Oh and I found a capsule of some kind of medication on the couch. If you are cleaning, it would have been found. I guess drugs are complimentary. I checked the bed thoroughly but didn’t find signs of bed bugs but I will be washing everything in hot water when I get home. I couldn’t stand for my feet to hit the floor. Thankfully I had my flip flops. I wore them constantly and showered with them on. I went to the gym and to the naked eye it looked clean but wasn’t because wipes were dry so couldn’t wipe down equipment. Water was empty with a full jug sitting outside the door. So disappointing and I'll never be back. I'm shocked that Hilton allows this as it is a risk to the brand. Oh and I found a capsule of some kind of medication on the couch. If you are cleaning, it would have been found. I guess drugs are complimentary. I was afraid to eat breakfast because if the rooms are that bad, I’m sure their kitchen is nasty too.
