Everything was so clean! Royal welcomed us for our late night check in. We were passing through on our way to Charleston. Royal was an absolute doll! She was so helpful and very informative and personable. There should be more people like her! Beds were comfy and everything was clean

Everyone was very professional and friendly. The rooms were tended to and they had plenty of really good breakfast options that were refilled often. They even had courtesy reminder calls and texts that I could text back to for any questions or issues. Thank you to all of the staff!

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. The front desk agent, Laquisha, was very friendly and provided outstanding hospitality from the moment we arrived. The hallways, room, bathroom, and parking lot were all very clean and well maintained. I also felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay, which is very important when traveling. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay in the area, I highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Do NOT Stay Here – Strong Urine Smell, Gaslighting Staff, and Horrendous Service The room we were initially assigned had a very strong urine smell immediately upon entering. We reported the issue to the front desk in less than 10 minutes of checking in and requested to be moved. Instead of offering a comparable replacement room, we were told we could not be switched because our dog had already entered the room, and that the only option was to cancel without refund and purchase another room. The issue with this is their excuse that my dog being in the room made the room unable to be resold to another guest. The room was uninhabitable long before my dog stepped foot in the room. They decided to ignore the fact that they sold me an UNSANITARY room. What made the experience worse was the dismissive attitude we received when trying to address the issue. A cleanliness concern should be taken seriously, especially when reported immediately after check-in. Instead, the front desk staff said she smelled “nothing” and refused to compare the smell to one of the other 4 rooms that I booked so she could see the extremely noticeable difference. Not only did the room smell of urine but the window seat had what appeared to be feces stains on the cushions. I am appalled at the condition of the room and the lack of accountability of the hotel staff and management. We ultimately had to spend additional money just to stay in a room that was sanitary and comfortable. Very disappointing customer service and problem resolution. I planned to stay here annually but I will NEVER step foot in this hotel again. In response to the reply: regardless of booking method, the hotel ultimately assigns the rooms and is responsible for providing a CLEAN room. There was also obviously other rooms that they could have put me in considering there was one I was placed in when I paid for another room! There is no excuse for this happening.

I LOVE this hotel. I always stay here when I come down to Columbus. The staff are literally the friendliest hotel staff I have ever encountered, the rooms are always clean and the location is perfect. It is an EXCELLENT choice if you are traveling with a dog/dogs. The workers are very friendly towards dogs and right across the street there is a welcome center that has loads of room for walking pets. The hotel itself also has plenty of pet areas with free bags, my pup is just used to having a woods nearby to do his business. The complimentary breakfast is pretty good as well with several options and check-in/check-out is a breeze! I would particularly like to thank Ms. Lisa who worked afternoon/evenings during my stay. She was very helpful and also just so very nice and personable. I was down for my fairly recently deceased Father’s celebration of life ceremony that was a tough occasion for me and her personality and kind words really helped brighten some of the hard days I had when there. That woman deserves a raise! Thank you again for a wonderful stay and I’m sure I will be seeing you next year!

Motel was sufficient for what we needed, location if your attending army grad is about 20 mins out from main gate, take the sandhill for easier access to grad locations, the price you see is a good deal but what they charge you is not the same as booked, some "hidden" cost that will take you 10-14 days to re-coupe is if they are booked to capacity they will pre authorize 1 night ahead of stay that is not part of your stay cost, when you arrive you will then pay for your nights of stay with $100 incidental hold for each room booked just so you are prepared for the additional "reinbursed" cost... in our case we had two rooms booked for our daughter in law and us so was additional $386 that was charged to be reimbursed for 2 nights total was $840 put taken from account... all the staff was super helpful and friendly so that was a huge plus, rooms were not immaculate but clean enough for the price. We probably would choose to stay closer knowing the cost saved was not exactly "saved" if we had to do over again so that our son had somewhere to relax on his two days of pass. That being said it was sufficient and clean location, with attentive staff. Hope this helps someone prepare.... "This we'll defend, follow me"

This hotel is one of the best! Our room was the cleanest we've ever had. That includes more expensive hotels too! The bathroom was immaculate!!!! Kudos to the cleaning staff! The young lady who checked us in and the lady who checked us out were very nice. Breakfast wasn't bad. Maybe needs a few more tables but it worked. We will stay here again if we pass through the area.

This hotel is always clean and organized. Never have security issues. Bright lights are around the parking lot. All the employees show their Southern hospitality, friendly, and helpful. The dog park was small but maintained very well. Dog waste bags were always available for use. This hotel is about 20 drive to Columbus downtown, but it is located in a quiet area. A Shell gas station is right there but far enough to keep noise away. For all of these positive things, I always stay here when coming to Columbus.

The staff was extremely nice and the lobby was inviting and cozy. The hotel is older and I took that in consideration. The mattress was extremely soft and uncomfortable. I did like the shower head it gave a nice message. Guests were loud and slamming doors throughout the night. Between the mattress and the loud guests I did not get much rest.

My stay was comfortable and quiet. I really enjoyed our room. Very clean! We ran into an issue with our shower head not working, but by the time we came back after reporting the problem at the front desk and leaving it was fixed and worked great! I wish I knew her name, but the lady working night shift was so lovely and made our check in after a stressful flight easy. Also there is a gym! If you are a gym girly you could definitely get a workout in. Overall for the price this is a solid motel to stay at in Columbus Georgia.
