Recent guests report a high variance in experiences at this property, ranging from concerns regarding safety and cleanliness in older rooms to satisfaction with the large, clean suites and location. The staff receives mixed reviews, while cleanliness and value fluctuate significantly based on the room condition and recent maintenance.
The beds were hard. The room needed updating. The toilet handle was broken. The first night we didn't have any hot water.
Apparently because we missed a visit from room service we have to wait an entire week to get our linens replaced. The front desk lady is unreasonable and has a bad habit of making it her business to punish the people staying in her location. It's franchised owned so they do whatever they want without fear of being reported to corporate. No stars.
Great central location for touring Historic Columbus. Surrounded by restaurants and shopping and right on the main thoroughfare, only blocks from the Historic district and riverfront.
very disappointed! was unable to access our original room and then was ‘banned’ for smoking despite booking a “smoking room”.. wasted $75 for a bed with bedbugs!! Also forbidden areas NEED TO BE POSTED ON SIGNAGE!
A place to sleep. I ended up in a very large (smoking) suite, which is probably my fault. When I explained the miscommunication, I was told nothing could be done. Perfect location. Just minutes from downtown Columbus.
If I could give this Hotel a zero I would it's horrible as soon as I got out the car to get the key for my room people was hanging around carrying guns trying to sell drugs right in the parking lot and in the lobby I booked through a 3rd party website (booking.com) or I would of left right then but I get the keys go back out to my vehicle to get our belongings and go to the room as we are getting our stuff out of the car 2 guys walk past and look us up and down and one of them pulled a gun half way out there hoodie pocket right then I was scared but I went up to the room anyway and as soon as we walked in the room you could see the door had been kicked in it was bowed in at the bottom and wouldn't lock, right then I knew we was not safe so we got our bags and left on the way out we saw the guys that flashed the pistol in the lobby talking with the lady that worked there and the staff and the manager of the motel knows whats going on there and they don't care so there not any help at all im reporting them to the health department, police department & booking.com because I trusted them to put me somewhere safe and that was not the case do not waste your money going here you will probably get robbed in the process as well
I was on the 5th floor. It was very nice. The only problem I had was people walking past my room talking loud, which alerted my dog to start barking off and on all night. Also having to put $150 deposit for my E.S.A. and will take 3-5 days to see back on my card!!
I really did enjoy my stay here and it was definitely worth what I paid. The room was clean and I did not hear any neighbors. The staff were great for answering questions and they were friendly. There's nothing fancy about staying here but if you need somewhere safe to stay I recommend this place.
Last minute booking..2 night stay for funeral..the room was horrible. Mold & mildew on the ceiling. Uncomfortable beds, didn't sleep well at all. You couldn't get any clean towels. No complimentary coffee in the lobby or your room, etc., etc, etc. The Motel needs to be shut down. Needs remodeling!!! I would not recommend this Motel to anyone. You get what you pay for.
Came here due to evacuation from FL for hurricane Milton. Positives were the staff being extremely friendly (specifically Ty? If I remember correctly. He worked overnight into the morning) & also no bugs. But room for improvement would be the cleanliness and the smell. Unfortunately our room reeked of cigarette smoke and whatever they use to clean or cover the smell was also pretty bad.
