This property requires immediate attention to address critical operational and maintenance shortcomings.
THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING TOTAL RIP OFF! I wouldn’t stay there if it was the last motel on earth and the people who run it are disgusting as well. The manager cussed me because I asked him for a different room because the one I was in did not get nothing cleaned. All they did was fix the bedding. They were still a nasty wash rag in my shower..! YOU’RE DISGUSTING AND I WILL MAKE SURE I TELL EVERYONE IN COLUMBUS NOT TO STAY AT YOUR NASTY ROACH, INFESTED MOTEL!! PS BE EXPECTING A VISIT FROM THE BBB AND THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT! I’m gonna take you down a peg or two and show you can’t treat people the way you have you better start looking for a new job
Room was not ok at all. First, we didn’t have pillows. FD was quick to bring. Not sure what was splattered on the wall and curtains, window didn’t close at the very top (windows open ALL THE WAY), bathroom door doesn’t shut, shower hardware is eerily spaced from the wall. There is more but goodness…a few days of maintenance would really help. Along with the window, we were on the interstate and trash side so it was not quiet at all. TJ was great at checkin. Not sure who worked the morning shift but they weren’t accommodating for a late checkout or baggage storage. They stated they were full. They were not. We are here for our son’s military graduation. Not very helpful for military families.
The customer service I received was Awesome!! The issue I had was with the room and breakfast... Starting with the room, couldn't sit on the sofa because it seemed to have been broken, it was sunken in very bad. Then the off button on the TV remote didn't work, so whenever we wanted to turn the TV off, we had to get up and unplug it, then had to get up and plug it back it if we wanted to watch the TV....Then as far as breakfast went, the food was good, but, the machine where you get the juices, that wasn't working...The worker stated, I could go to the lobby and get some water, which I don't mind water, but I had my heart set on oj, so I had to purchase 2 bottles from the snack area.....This stay had a lot of inconveniences....
The staff was friendly which is the only redeeming quality. I have tried to call multiple times and at this point it feels like the manager is dodging my calls. I found a cockroach in my bathroom and brought it to the attention of the staff as we were leaving (found it just a couple hours before checkout). There was stains on the sheets for multiple beds, including blood stains on one of them. The room also stank of weed so strong it didn't go away for the 3 days we were there. If I could give a 0/5 stars for the room I would.
The staff is very under qualified to do their jobs. I book rooms weekly for my employees at many hotels and this hotel is the only one that has ever said “we do not allow you to book more than 1 room for a CLC” never in my life has this been a problem until now.
My group and I booked a double queen w/ sofa bed at this hotel for a work trip. We arrived around 2am for check in after driving 7 hours from Florida. Initially , the young man at the front desk was friendly and attentive. As soon as we walked into our room, it smelled heavily of smoke. The walls had brown stains and even the “new “ sheets had stains on them. Then we look up and see a roach just chilling on the ceiling. I took a video and also saw there were other dead bugs around that area. Also , the pool looked disgusting. We immediately grabbed our luggage and went back down to the lobby to ask for a refund. The young man spoke to his manager and was able to accommodate us at a similar hotel ( Quality inn Phenix City ) but the room was different. Only because the football game was going on that weekend and there weren’t many rooms available. The Quality inn was much better and smelled very clean. I was disappointed having to go through all of that after such a long drive but grateful in the end.
DO NOT STAY HERE! We are Platinum Choice hotel rewards members and this hotel does not deserve to be a part of Choice Hotels chain at all! This is the worst Comfort Suites hotel that we have ever stayed at! There was no faucet handle on our shower, therefore we could not turn the shower on. We could not adjust the volume or turn off the TV with the remote so we had to unplug the TV to turn it off. The ice machine was broken. The website says that there is a hot tub, NOT TRUE! The restroom in the lobby was out of order. And, when we requested a late check out, the rude representative at the front desk named Tanya (sp?) said that we could have 15 extra minutes. Really? That is how you treat Platinum Choice hotel members? Disgusting! We will definitely be questioning staying at a Choice hotel on our next vacation...
The first day we got there the receptionist was very nice and gave us pool towels when we were heading to the pool. The second day, we found bugs in our beds and we asked for our sheets to be changed, and they changed our sheets but while they were changing the sheets, the receptionist got a call and was talking about us. The person on the phone said something and the receptionist replied along the lines of “listen here, I have an entire family watching me change these sheets.” she also said “I don’t know why I’m changing these sheets, because when I walked in they were all laid up in the bed,” mind you when she said that she spoke loudly so we all could hear. She acted as if she didn't believe us but we showed her pictures of the bugs. They may have been just bugs, but they were still under two layers of the sheets. I know they have seen bugs around the hotel too so I don't know why they acted like we were crazy. (Photos are of us finding the bugs in our room and on the elevator). On the third day, we asked for our hotel rooms to be cleaned, and we came back to them fixing only one bed and then left the other two messy ? I can’t lie, that was very funny but just shows how lazy these people are. Our hotel room toilet was clogged and we were trying to find the receptionist to ask if we could use their plunger, but there was no one to be found for an hour. Guests were sitting in the lobby waiting as well. The pool was also very run down, the water makes you itchy, and the tiles of the pool are broken, which is a safety hazard because they can cut somebody. My uncle’s hotel room also didn't have shower curtains and the sofa beds are basically busted up springs. Honestly, if you don't like your job just say that.
Where do I start? While staying, we went out for our event...came back a guy had our room door propped open doing repairs and patching holes in the bathroom wall... he left all of the sheetrock..caulk..etc in the tub and did not clean behind himself. Next, we were resting and a female employee who was NOT on the clock bursts into our room like she is about to take a nap. I reported it but i dont know how far it made it. I will NEVER stay here again. We were in town for an Army graduation and I couldn't wait to get the hell out of this hotel. If I could have found a room close I would've left that night. The best part was the front desk clerk ASIA....you are very sweet dear...please go to another hotel that deserves your kindness! Worst stay ever!!
When we checked in and got into our room, I turned the air down and noticed there was dust, food and mold in the air unit. The bathroom had hair all over the floor and bathtub. The shower curtain had mildew stains on it. Before breakfast had started I was sitting in the breakfast room and was told rudely to leave. Also, the pool was dirty. Would not stay there again
