UPDATE: Updated to 4 **** AJ, the GM called me 2 days later and spoke with me about the situation mentioned below and was very polite and apologized for the situation. She talked with me, asked questions, and worked to fix the situation as best as possible. She told me to call her with any other questions, or if the fix we discussed didn't happen. Was very impressed that the GM took the time to call and and speak with me. Greatly appreciate the great customer service and follow-up. 1 * Booked a 1 bedroom suite with 2 beds and a pullout couch… I show up and was told, “you got the last room!” When I asked what room, I was told a single. I said that’s not what I booked, and was told I should check-in earlier. Ummm ok. That’s not how traveling works

The location and price of this hotel is great..but it is cheap for a reason. Honestly if it wasnt so late when we got there I would raise hell....the room we walked into on the 2nd floor was disgusting, black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom (sad attempt at being painted over)and along the tub, the room had a musty old icky smell and the overall room just gives me the ICK....the AC barely works and does not cool the whole room....we have our kids with us and this is honestly so disappointing and disgusting...luckily staying one night and leaving....we will surely never be back...dont be fooled by the cost and see the pictures and think its great...everything about the room is nasty

From the moment we walked in we were greeted by friendly smiles! The complimentary water and snacks was welcomed after a long day of driving. The hotel is older, but very clean. Beds are small but so comfortable. We had a nice time lounging by the outdoor pool while our kids swam. The location is very convenient close to restaurants and other amenities. Breakfast was ok, a lot of choices for a quick bite before getting back on the road. The whole staff was very nice, but Varteesa went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Priscilla the breakfast attendant is awesome. I witnessed her being so polite to all of the guests that walked in. She was always busy and always replacing items to make sure the bar looked amazing. The food was delicious.! Some of the guests said they were taking her with them when they leave! You really are an asset to Marriott! And to think I almost missed breakfast!!! I will stay here again, if Priscilla is here!

I am absolutely impressed with this establishment! The staff is so humble and kind, the hotel itself is pleasantly clean and peaceful, you can tell they take pride in this place. Cassandra runs an amazing ship, I can tell she loves to help people. I don't think I've had a better experience in a hotel, especially the last one I was in. Priscilla puts out a wonderful and delicious breakfast spread every morning and it's so nice and welcoming. You don't feel like you're in the way, I love that. It's clear that great customer service is a priority here and this place is a hidden gem that everyone should experience. Perfect location with plenty to do in the area, my room is pristine and the housekeeping staff is so helpful. The pool is a great size and clean. I've been here for about a week and the smiles haven't faded and the atmosphere is still the same. This is my favorite hotel. I'm moving into my place soon and I wish I could stay longer because I know the next hotel won't have nothing on this place! Thank you all for the great experience!

If you’re thinking about booking this hotel through a third-party site, don’t. We booked our room days in advance, received a confirmation, and drove over 9 hours from Virginia with a newborn and a dog, only to find out at check-in that the hotel had canceled our reservation without any notice or communication whatsoever. Instead of taking responsibility, the male receptionist blamed Booking.com for the cancellation and the multiple charges made to our account. However, when Booking.com contacted the hotel directly, the same receptionist admitted that it was actually the hotel that canceled the reservation. On top of that, they charged us $200 and then another $175 after we had already paid when making the reservation. Completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and incredibly stressful after traveling all day with a baby and pet. Avoid this place if you don’t want your trip ruined before you even check in.

The front desk associate who checked us in was very nice and caring but the breakfast attendant lady stands and watches you like a hawk! It kinda makes you feel uncomfortable going to breakfast even though you spend a lot of money on these rooms here! Also there was clothes hangers on the couch for some reason when we checked into our room…

My father in law booked this hotel for our entire family for us visiting family. And this is the only bad review I have ever left a place. I do not suggest this hotel! The hotel is less than ideal. Our room had an active leak, hot water was non existent, room made you feel gross. The bathroom smelled like someone soaked it in bleach and to top it off the pull out couch looked like it has been there since 1980’s and has seen a thing or two. My brother in law was given a dirty room the first time, then they moved him to a new room that had blood and other “human fluids” on the floor and bed. So they are onto room number three. The staff is great and very nice but that dosnt over run the bad. Don’t stay here!

The front desk staff exceeded our expectations with their exceptional friendliness and helpfulness. Our room was clean and satisfactory, although it didn't quite match the high standards of cleanliness we've experienced at other SpringHill Suites locations. The elevator was a bit unsettling, as it seemed to struggle at times. The breakfast offering was average.

The room was nice. Sleeper sofa was dated but worked. The light over the bathroom sink was dim. It needs to be changed to an LED and a fixture that lights the area better. There was two remotes for the TV. One for turning it on and the second one for getting to the channels. There should only be one remote for the TV. The breakfast variety was best that I have seen in a long time. Choice of biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs, sausage as well as cereals, yogurt etc.
